Adolfo Messori was born in Modena in 1902. Having graduated in mechanical engineering, he joined Lancia in 1929, working in the experience and testing office. In the same year he moved to Fiat, where in 1955 he became deputy director of the testing group of the car plant and in 1960 section director. He passed away in 1969.
