#ADACSchlossbergrennen
The ADAC-Schlossbergrennen was a German hill-climb held at Gernsbach in Baden-Württemberg, on the road leading towards Schloss Eberstein. Organised by the Automobil-Club Eberstein under the auspices of the ADAC, the event was first held in 1970 and quickly became an established fixture of the southern German hill-climb scene, attracting touring cars, GTs, sports cars and specialised competition machinery. The original course was later shortened following changes to the road and increasingly stringent safety requirements. After interruptions caused by the 1974 oil crisis, construction work and permitting difficulties, the event resumed several times during the 1980s; in 1985 it received the status of a round of the Deutsche Bergtrophäe. The 14th and final contemporary edition was held in 1989. The tradition was revived in 2004 with the Schlossberg-Historic for historic competition cars.
We'll tell the story of this event on the occasion of its anniversary or when it will reach a sufficient number of cars.
