The 1000 km or 6 Hours of Monza is an endurance car race managed by the Autodromo Nazionale di Monza, in Italy. Since the second edition in 1966 it has awarded the "Trofeo Caracciolo". In the early sixties the race lasted three hours, before the expansion of endurance races to the distance of 1000 km from 1965.
