February 17, 2026
The 2026 Palm Beach Cavallino Classic took place from February 13 to 15, marking several important firsts – including its debut at The Boca Raton, the introduction of the Legacy Class, the regional premiere of the new Ferrari 849 Testarossa, and the inaugural Cavallino Auction presented by RM Sotheby’s – while also celebrating the 35th anniversary of the iconic Ferrari-dedicated event owned by Canossa Events, part of the duPont REGISTRY Group.
This milestone edition was among the most successful ever, with over 360 automobiles gathered for the weekend, spanning Ferrari masterpieces from the 1960s through the 1990s and highlighting rare and historically significant models across the marque’s entire history.
Best of Show in the Competizione category went to the 1947 Ferrari 125 S/166 Mille Miglia (Carrozzeria Touring), chassis no. 02C/020 I – one of the first two Ferrari-branded cars. Its historical profile was supported by a dedicated research project conducted by Automotive Masterpieces, whose rigorous methodological approach helped clarify the car’s origin and early evolution, representing a significant added value in the understanding and recognition of this foundational Ferrari.
Best of Show in the Gran Turismo category was awarded to the 1956 Ferrari 410 Superamerica #0475 SA. Other notable awards included the Chairman’s Award for the 1964 275 GTB Competizione Speciale #6701, “The Very First” award for the 166 MM Barchetta #002M, the Preservation Award for the 1981 400i #F101C01033847, the Restoration Award for the 1960 250 GT Berlinetta Competizione Passo Corto #2231 GT, and the Elegance Award for the 1959 250 GT California Passo Lungo #1217 GT. In total, over 80 Platinum Awards were presented, underscoring the exceptional quality of the field.
Event highlights also included the premiere presentation of the Ferrari 849 Testarossa during the Party Under The Stars and the Cavallino Auction by RM Sotheby’s, which featured the $5.23 million sale of a LaFerrari. The new Boca Raton venue was widely praised for its layout and atmosphere, fittingly hosting a 35th anniversary edition that brought together several past Best of Show-winning “legacy” Cavallino cars.
Future 2026 Cavallino events will take place in Monaco in April, Modena in May, and the Middle East in December, alongside other duPont REGISTRY Group automotive events including Cars On 5th, Rétromobile New York, and Miami Concours.
