#WasgauBergpreis
The Internationaler Wasgau-Bergpreis was a German hill-climb event held in the Wasgau region of Rhineland-Palatinate and forming part of the country’s extensive post-war hill-climb scene. It attracted sports cars, GTs, touring cars and single-seaters, and was contested over several editions from the 1960s into the 1970s. The event appeared on the calendars of the German hill-climb championship and other national or international competitions, drawing prominent drivers and marques active in European mountain racing. Contemporary sources also refer to it as the Wasgauer Bergpreisor Wasgau-Bergrennen.
