#JuraBergrennenNeumarkt

The Jura-Bergrennen was a German hill-climb held at Neumarkt in der Oberpfalz, Bavaria, on the road over the Mariahilfberg. First organised in 1968, the event was initially run under the Deutscher Motorsport-Verband and later by the 1. Motorsportclub Neumarkt. It attracted motorcycles as well as racing, touring, GT and sports cars, and became one of the established hill-climb events in southern Germany, drawing large crowds during its peak years. The races continued until 1982, when increasing safety requirements and declining attendance brought the series to an end.
