Henrique Severino Casini (November 8, 1898 - January 25, 1981) was born in Passagem de Mariana, Brazil. His approach to motor sport took place in 1933. In 1934 Casini made his debut, at the age of 36, in the most important race of the time, the "Grande Premio Cidade do Rio de Janeiro". He raced until 1960, aged 62. He later collaborated in the organization of races, rallies, competitions and other events related to motorsport.
