Gerhard Schröder was a Porsche body engineer and a member of the team involved in the development of the Porsche 901/911. Working in Erwin Komenda’s body-construction department, he acted as a liaison between Porsche’s engineering office, Ferdinand Alexander Porsche’s styling department and Reutter during the development of the new body. Contemporary documentation identifies him specifically as the Porsche representative assigned to Reutter for the T8/901 programme.
