Francesco Salomone was an Italian automotive designer who worked for Carrozzeria Pinin Farina from the 1940s through the 1960s, becoming one of the company’s principal stylists and head of studio. He supervised and contributed to numerous projects during a formative period in Pinin Farina’s history, working with figures such as Franco Martinengo, Adriano Rabbone and later Aldo Brovarone. Salomone is associated with important designs including the Lancia Aurelia B24, Alfa Romeo Giulietta Spider and Ferrari 275 GTB, and also contributed to other Pinin Farina projects of the 1950s and 1960s.
