Ernst Weyersberg was a Porsche engineer and a member of the development team responsible for the Porsche 901/911. Within the experimental department, he was responsible for planning and coordination, helping organise the testing and development work that brought the new model from prototype to production. He later remained active in Porsche engineering and is also documented as an inventor on transmission-related patents.
