#EdgarKaib

Edgar Kaib was a German racing driver active mainly in GT racing, circuit competition and hill climbs during the 1970s, closely associated with Porsche machinery. He competed as a private entrant with Porsche 911 models and, in 1974–1975, raced Porsche 911 Carrera RSR chassis 911 360 0921 in both circuit events and hill climbs. With this car he appeared in Deutsche Rennsport-Meisterschaft competition and achieved a number of strong results, including second overall at Rotenburg, third at Neumarkt, victory at the Frankenwald-Bergrennen, second at the Schottenring and victory at Hockenheim in 1975. Period entry lists also show Kaib entering the car under his own name, reflecting his role as an independent privateer competitor.

We'll publish a biography on him on the occasion of his anniversary or when it will be reached a sufficient number of cars.
