June 1940 - Record 1 Jun 1940 The car bearing its 1st plate (BS 15073) in an environment suitable for both Mazzotti and Lana, i.e. parked next to a Caproni Ca.310 Libeccio, a twin-engine reconnaissance plane, with the insignia of the Regia Aeronautica, on the Ponte San Pietro airfield (Bergamo, Italy). The date of the Millanta shot (June 1940) suggests that the car was already owned by Lana. Probably the license plate MI-73396 was never mounted by the Alfa Romeo dealership and Lana also waited before being able to mount the license plate SV-5912. View all
