STARTING POINT

This vehicle is well-known, and our research began with the exceptional work of the model's "guru," Tony Adriaensen, conducted for his monographic book "Ottovù." From it, we derived many important details.

RESEARCH

However, our investigation led to the discovery of an impressive number of previously unpublished photos. And not just photos: videos from the era were also uncovered, including the 1952 Giro dell’Umbria, 1953 Mille Miglia - A Shell Film, 1954 Coppa Mare e Monti, 1954 Giro dell’Umbria, and 1958 Internationales Auto und Motorradrennen am Flugplatz Zeltweg. Many details were gleaned from daily and periodical press from that time; we pinpointed numerous details of placements, race numbers, drivers, notes, anecdotes, and made corrections to years of events and names involved. Moreover, new events that had remained unknown were discovered, including:

- the presence in the movie "1953 Mille Miglia - A Shell Film."

- 1955 Rally Riviera di Ponente, #300.

- 1958 Internationales Auto und Motorradrennen am Flugplatz Zeltweg, #87 (test with black number and race with white number the following day).

- 1958 Internationales Autorennen Innsbruck Flugplatz, #63.

- 1959 Internationales Autorennen Innsbruck Flugplatz, #73 with Dore Leto di Priolo.

- 1959 Coppa Asiago, #178.

- 1959 Trieste-Opicina, #182 with Elio Zagato.

- 1960 Stallavena - Bosco Chiesanuova, #580.
