"BEHIND THE SCENES" PHOTOS, SHELL MOVIE & AUTOMOBILIA FOUND

STARTING POINT
A specimen that raced as an "almost" official one, hence with a history that is traced and documented by many images and reported in the press of the time.

RESEARCH
In this case, our work did not lead to the discovery of unknown events. However, it did lead to some truly interesting surprises: we found additional unpublished "behind the scenes" photos of already known events, such as photos of the car's preparation before the Mille Miglia and in other races. We have recorded the car's participation in the film “Mille Miglia 1953, A Shell Film” directed by Bill Mason. And, finally, we have found and provided the car owner with automobilia items related to the car and its history.
