STARTING POINT
This car was credited with participating in the Mille Miglia and was considered one of the Fiat 1400 Berlinetta Abarth in the "sport" version.
RESEARCH
Unfortunately, the research led to a disavowal, as it turned out that this chassis had not participated in the Mille Miglia. During the same research, another result was obtained: a clarification of the model, after having carefully compared the vintage photos, by making measurements. Indeed, it turned out that the "sport" versions of the Fiat 1400 Berlinetta Abarth had a lower roof compared to the standard versions, and this fact was still ignored even by the brand registers. Thus, it was possible to establish both the identity of the car, as a (high-roof) "standard" in "sport" trim and the non-attribution of the Mille Miglia.
