STARTING POINT
The 1948 Cisitalia 202 Gran Sport (Carrozzeria Alfredo Vignale & C.), chassis no. 110SC was a car with little known history, attributed to Pinin Farina.
RESEARCH
The research carried out by and with the current owner's team, which provided not only a philological restoration, but also the historical aspect of the car, led to a detailed knowledge of the history of the owners; from the first owner with which, probably, it raced: a fact still under investigation. Contacting the old owners the current owner's team have traced back to period photos in Sardinia, in which the Vignale logo was clearly visible. This made it possible to define and correct the authorship of the bodywork of this car.
