COPPA INTEREUROPA ATTRIBUTION, RACING HISTORY ON DISCOVER

STARTING POINT
Of some cars, like the 1947 Fiat Stanguellini 1100 Berlinetta Special (Bertone), Chassis no. 290996 there is little prior information; of this one it was believed that it did not have a sporting past.
RESEARCH
Our research work in the archives has allowed us to attribute, in the first instance, an important sporting event to the history of the car: the Coppa Intereuropa, in 1951. But, a fundamental principle of the research is not to be satisfied: further investigations revealed the participation of the car in other races between 1950 and 1952. The name of the car's regular driver was also clarified: Enrico Manzini, who would later race with the 1955 Ermini 357 Sport (Morelli Brothers) sn 15 55, 1255.
