STARTING POINT
The case of the 1947 Cisitalia 202 Spyder Mille Miglia (Carrozzeria Garella), Chassis no. 002S, is that of a car with a known sporting history which included the Mille Miglia and other races.
RESEARCH
Even in cases like this, where you think you already know everything, a thorough search can bring surprises and unexpected events can be found; in this case, identification of the car as the prototype of the series, with short door and short molding and, last but not least, as the car depicted in the sales brochure. Not secondary, for the purpose of identifying the machine was the correct naming of the model.
