#WaltHansgen

Walt Hansgen was one of America’s finest road-racing drivers of the 1950s and early 1960s, admired for his speed, precision and natural talent across sports cars and single-seaters. A four-time SCCA C-Modified National Champion and a dominant force in East Coast racing, he achieved major victories at tracks such as Watkins Glen, Daytona and Sebring, where he often challenged factory teams with privateer machinery. Hansgen also competed internationally, including appearances at the 24 Hours of Le Mans and several Formula 1 Grands Prix for Briggs Cunningham. Remembered for his skill, modesty and mentor role to younger drivers, he remains one of the most respected figures of America’s golden era of road racing.

We'll publish a biography on him on the occasion of his anniversary or when it will be reached a sufficient number of cars.
