#TuskegeeSportsCarRaces

The Tuskegee Sports Car Races were SCCA regional events held on a temporary circuit laid out at the Tuskegee airfield in Alabama, one of the many post-war airport venues that shaped Southern road racing in the 1950s. The meeting brought together a mix of local and traveling privateers, campaigning Jaguars, Porsches, Ferraris, MGs and a variety of American-built specials. With fast, straightforward runway sections and minimal facilities, Tuskegee offered both competitive racing and the relaxed, close-knit paddock atmosphere typical of the Southern SCCA scene, providing valuable mileage and visibility for emerging drivers in the region.
