Mechanical engineer, born in Saronno (Varese) in 1891. In 1919 he entered the Fiat as a designer, bringing his contribution to the solution of the problem of supercharging, which allows Fiat racing engines to succeed victoriously. His designs provide Fiat with even greater primacy in the aeronautics sector. In 1929 he took over the Fiat Technical Offices and under his guidance the models of the 508 Balilla and 1500 cars were designed. He died in Turin in 1939.
