#TourAuto
The Tour Auto is the modern continuation of an event established in 1899 as the Tour de France Automobile, one of the earliest and most prestigious motoring competitions in Europe. Revived in 1992 as a historic rally, it retains the spirit of the original event, combining timed special stages on closed roads with circuit races along a route that changes each year. Although all entrants follow the same itinerary, they compete in different categories — from regularity to competition — which means that not all participants take part in exactly the same sporting format.
We'll tell the story of this event on the occasion of its anniversary or when it will reach a sufficient number of cars.
