Sergio Ferraguti, son of the inventor of the "gassogeno", a system for powering cars with gases derived from the combustion of charcoal. Ferraguti in 1930, just eighteen, with an Alfa Romeo 6C 1750 equipped with this device, completed a demonstration tour of Europe of 6000 kilometers in 7 days. He was also a fighter pilot during the Second World War and ran seven editions of the Mille Miglia with good results as well as many other races in Italy and Libya.
