#ScuderiaJanua
Scuderia Janua was a private racing team based in Genoa and active during the 1950s, known for its participation in major Italian competitions such as the Mille Miglia and the Giro Automobilistico d’Italia. Among its most notable drivers was Carlo Croce, a member of a prominent Genoese maritime family, who competed in events behind the wheel of cars like the Lancia Aurelia B20. In the 1955 Mille Miglia, Croce achieved an impressive 18th overall position, a remarkable result for a non-professional driver. Scuderia Janua exemplifies the commitment of Ligurian private teams to post-war Italian motorsport, contributing to the preservation of the region’s racing heritage.
