#SCCARegionalSportsCarRaces

The SCCA Regional Sports Car Races were a broad network of post-war American road-racing events held across dozens of temporary and permanent circuits in the 1950s and early 1960s. Often staged on military or municipal airfields, these meetings offered fast, improvised layouts and attracted committed privateers developing their skills outside the national championship. With a mix of local talent, European sports cars, and grassroots enthusiasm, the regional races formed the backbone of early American sports-car culture, serving as the proving ground for many drivers, cars and teams that later rose to national and international prominence.

We'll tell the story of these events on the occasion of their anniversary or when they will reach a sufficient number of cars.
