#RuthLevy
Ruth "Tetta" Levy was an American racing driver in the 1950s, one of the era’s celebrated “Spyder girls.” Driving Porsche 550 Spyders for John Edgar Enterprises and later Stan Sugarman, she began with a standout drive at Pomona—winning in the rain by more than a minute. Alongside Skip Hudson, she formed a winning West Coast pair, claiming multiple class and outright victories at venues like Pomona, Santa Barbara, Riverside, and more. Levy was notable not only for her speed but for competing shoulder-to-shoulder with male counterparts, breaking barriers in a male-dominated sport.
We'll publish a biography on her on the occasion of her anniversary or when it will be reached a sufficient number of cars.
