Road America, opened in 1955 near Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin, is one of the most iconic permanent road racing circuits in North America. At 4 miles (6.4 km) in length, the track combines high speed with technical corners, set in a scenic natural landscape. It quickly became the new home of major SCCA National events after the end of the Elkhart Lake street races, and has since hosted countless premier championships, from Can-Am and Trans-Am to IMSA, IndyCar, and NASCAR. Renowned for its challenging layout and rich tradition, Road America remains a cornerstone of American motorsport.
We'll tell the story of this circuit on the occasion of its anniversary or when it will reach a sufficient number of cars.
