#RichardBellows
Richard Bellows was an American racing driver active in the 1950s sports car scene, competing in SCCA events across the West Coast. He is particularly remembered for driving Porsche 550 Spyders, often appearing at venues such as Santa Barbara, Palm Springs, and Pomona. Bellows raced alongside many of the top privateers of the era, contributing to the growing presence of European sports cars in U.S. competition. Though not as widely known as figures like Phil Hill or Jack McAfee, his role as a dedicated privateer reflects the grassroots spirit that defined American sports car racing in its formative years.
We'll publish a biography on him on the occasion of his anniversary or when it will be reached a sufficient number of cars.
