#Rally999Minuti

The Rally 999 Minuti was born in 1966 when the "Tre Gazzelle" racing team from Novara, in collaboration with the Automobile Club Novara, began organizing motorsport events. Among their efforts, they created the "999 Minuti" rally, inspired by Finland's Rally of the Thousand Lakes. The first edition took place on April 15-16, 1967, covering an 812 km route. The course passed through challenging areas in the Piedmont region, such as the Cannobina Valley and the Vigezzo Valley. Lancia’s official team participated, with Sandro Munari winning the first edition alongside Lombardini. Lancia continued to dominate the following editions, with victories from Munari, Kallstrom, Barbasio, and Ballestrieri. After six editions, the rally was scaled down to "333 Minuti" and later "111 Minuti." Today, the event has been revived as a historic rally, bringing back the cars that once thrilled audiences in the 1960s and 1970s. The new Team Erredue, in collaboration with the Automobile Club Novara, is organizing the "999 Minuti" revival as a historic rally on November 8-9. The official presentation will take place on September 28, and interest is already high, with many interactions on social media and the event website.
