#RRCWalker
Robert Ramsay Campbell Walker was a prominent British gentleman racer and team owner who played a pivotal role in international post-war motorsport. He began racing in the 1930s and gained recognition at events like Le Mans, Brooklands and Goodwood. After WWII, Walker founded the Rob Walker Racing Team, which would go on to make history as the first privateer team to win a Formula One Grand Prix. Known for his passion for French engineering and his strategic vision, Walker combined driving skill with an acute sense for talent—most famously hiring Stirling Moss. His career bridged the golden age of endurance racing and the modern era of F1, making him a central figure in motorsport heritage.
We'll publish a biography on him on the occasion of his anniversary or when it will be reached a sufficient number of cars.
