The President’s Cup Race was a prestigious SCCA event awarded to the outstanding performance at a major East Coast meeting, traditionally associated with early-season races such as those held at VIR and Marlboro. The trophy, presented on behalf of the President of the United States, became one of the most coveted honors in American amateur road racing, symbolizing excellence, sportsmanship and national recognition within the SCCA framework of the 1950s and 1960s.
