#PebbleBeachRoadRaces
The Pebble Beach Road Races were first held in 1950 on the narrow and twisting roads of the Del Monte Forest in Pebble Beach, California. They quickly became the heart of postwar West Coast sports car racing, attracting leading drivers, privateers, and manufacturers to a scenic yet demanding tree-lined course. Run until 1956, the races gained legendary status but were discontinued due to safety concerns. Their legacy lived on from 1957 at the newly built Laguna Seca Raceway, where the tradition continued as the Monterey Grand Prix.
We'll tell the story of this event on the occasion of its anniversary or when it will reach a sufficient number of cars.
