#ParamountRanchRoadRaces
The Paramount Ranch Road Races were first held in 1956 on a temporary 2-mile road circuit built within the Paramount movie ranch in Agoura Hills, California. Sanctioned by the SCCA, the races offered a unique setting where Hollywood scenery met competitive sports car racing. The inaugural events featured preliminary heats such as Race Five, alongside main contests that drew top West Coast drivers and teams. Though the circuit saw only a few years of competition before closing in 1957 due to safety concerns, Paramount Ranch remains a legendary venue in the history of American sports car racing.
