Famous Italian driver, born in 1931. He was born in Cento, Ferrara. He ran the 1956 Mille Miglia race together Ermete Gamberini with an Alfa Romeo Giulietta Sprint.  He won the Coppa delle Consuma in 1958, in 1961 and in 1964 with Maserati. He ran several times the Targa Florio. In 1960 he wrote his name in the Hall of Fame of Varese - Campo dei Fiori race with a Maserati Tipo 60 Birdcage. He was the last winner of that historic race.
