#NeoklaSportsCarRaces
The Neokla Sports Car Races were part of the SCCA’s North-East Oklahoma and Kansas regional division, a vibrant post-war motorsport community that staged events on temporary airfield circuits across the Midwest. Held at venues such as Stillwater Municipal Airport, Hutchinson and other regional air bases, these meetings featured fast runway sections, simple facilities and strong fields of committed privateers. Though not part of the national championship, the Neokla races played a significant role in developing local talent, providing essential mileage and competitive experience within the expanding American sports-car racing scene of the 1950s.
