Mario Revelli di Beaumont (Rome, 25 June 1907 - Grugliasco, 29 May 1985) was a visionary Italian designer, engineer, and inventor, whose work left a lasting mark on automotive and industrial design. Known for blending technical innovation with elegant styling, he collaborated with renowned coachbuilders such as Stabilimenti Farina, Pinin Farina, and Fiat, creating groundbreaking prototypes and limited-production cars from the 1930s to the 1950s. A pioneer in aerodynamics, Revelli introduced advanced solutions like streamlined bodies, retractable headlights, and integrated fenders well before they became widespread. His contributions extended to aviation and military vehicles, where he applied his engineering genius to both function and form. Revelli di Beaumont was more than a stylist — he was a holistic designer, embodying the ideal of the "engineer-artist". His legacy continues to inspire car designers, collectors, and enthusiasts worldwide.
