#LorenzoBandini
Lorenzo Bandini (21 December 1935 – 10 May 1967) was an Italian racing driver, born in Barce, Italian Libya, and active in Formula One with Scuderia Centro Sud and, above all, Ferrari. A works Ferrari driver in both single-seaters and sports cars, he won the 1964 Austrian Grand Prix and became one of the most prominent Italian drivers of the 1960s. His endurance record was especially significant: with Ferrari he won the 1963 24 Hours of Le Mans alongside Ludovico Scarfiotti, the 1965 Targa Florio with Nino Vaccarella, and the 1967 24 Hours of Daytona with Chris Amon. He died from injuries sustained in an accident during the 1967 Monaco Grand Prix.
We'll publish a biography on him on the occasion of his anniversary or when it will be reached a sufficient number of cars.
