#LanciaAstura2aSerie
Produced from the summer of 1932 to the autumn of 1933, the Lancia Astura Second Series (Tipo 230) represented an intermediate evolution of the model introduced in 1931. Powered by the narrow-angle 2,606 cc V8 producing 72 hp, it retained the general architecture of the first series while introducing a number of refinements to chassis details, braking components, and body mounting points, including the adoption of silentbloc bushings on the leaf springs to improve rigidity and ride comfort. Built in 750 examples (chassis range 30-1501 to 30-2250), the Astura Series II was available both with factory saloon coachwork and as a bare chassis for bespoke bodies, becoming one of the most prestigious foundations for Italian coachbuilders of the period and paving the way for the more substantial developments of the Third Series introduced in 1933.
