La Jolla Sports Car Club Autocross refers to a club-level driving competition organised by the La Jolla Sports Car Club, one of the Southern California sports car organisations active in the mid-1950s. Incorporated in California in 1955, the club formed part of the lively post-war amateur competition scene in which autocrosses and gymkhanas offered sports car owners an accessible setting in which to test handling, precision and driver skill.
