#JohnEdgarEnterprises

John Edgar Enterprises Inc. was a prominent American private racing team founded by John Edgar, formerly of Troy, Ohio and of Los Angeles, California —and a noted big spender as financial investor, during the 1950s. The team campaigned a variety of top sports cars — including Ferrari, Porsche, Maserati, Mercedes-Benz, and Alfa Romeo — in national and international events. Edgar entrusted his cars to leading drivers of the era such as Jack McAfee, Carroll Shelby, Richie Ginther, and Ruth Levy, securing victories at venues like Pebble Beach, Cumberland, and Riverside. Known for its professionalism and competitive spirit, John Edgar Enterprises played a key role in establishing sports car racing on the U.S. West Coast.

We'll tell the story of this team on the occasion of its anniversary or when it will reach a sufficient number of cars.
