Jack McAfee (1922–2007) was one of America’s leading sports car drivers of the 1950s and 1960s, closely associated with Porsche in the United States. A Volkswagen and Porsche dealer in California, McAfee became a dominant figure in SCCA racing, winning major events at Pebble Beach, Cumberland, and Road America, often driving for John Edgar’s team. Known for his speed, consistency, and technical knowledge, he was a key ambassador for Porsche during its early years in America, helping establish the marque’s reputation on the West Coast.
