A gentleman driver, Giancarlo Bornigia (1930 - 21 August 2013) was the son of Renato Bornigia, former president of the Lazio football team, a motor enthusiast, who competed in numerous Mille Miglias and successfully traded luxury cars. Giancarlo inherited the business and passion for motors from his father. Giancarlo Bornigia is above all famous for having founded in 1965 with Alberigo Crocetta the very famous Piper Club, a temple of beat music, icon of an entire generation.
