#FortPierceSportsCarRaces
The Fort Pierce Sports Car Races were an SCCA regional meeting held at the Fort Pierce airfield in Florida, using a temporary circuit laid out over runways and service roads. Typical of mid-century American airfield venues, the event attracted a mix of local and traveling privateers, offering fast sections and minimal facilities. Although not part of the national championship calendar, the Fort Pierce races formed an important stop in the regional Southern racing scene of the 1950s, providing valuable competition and track time for emerging drivers.
