#Fiat508sBalillaSport
The Balilla Spider Sport: spider with two staggered seats; 3-speed; the low and smooth bodywork for an "elbow out" drive, with the characteristic insect tail, was designed in 1933 by Ghia, taking inspiration from the English spiders of the time; the Veix carburetor and the compression ratio increased to 7:1 brought the power to 30 HP at 4,000 rpm with a final drive ratio of 10/43; the Spider Sport thus reached 110 km/h. It was also produced by NSU of Neckarsulm, by Walter of Prague and by Fiat-France. The Fiat 508S, designed by Mario Revelli and known as the "Coppa d'Oro", is the most sought after by collectors. From 1934 it was built with a 4-speed gearbox, overhead valve timing and other detailed modifications, which brought the power to 36 HP. The changes to the bodywork concerned in particular the tail, more tapered.
