#Ferrari342America
The Ferrari 342 America was a limited-production grand touring model introduced in the early 1950s, powered by a large-displacement Lampredi V12 engine and intended for long-distance, high-speed road use. Built on a tubular chassis derived from Ferrari’s competition experience, the 342 America combined robust mechanical specification with refined coachwork, most commonly by Pinin Farina. Positioned at the top of Ferrari’s road car range of the period, it exemplified the transition from bespoke post-war sports cars to more mature and luxurious gran turismo models, while retaining close technical links to the marque’s racing heritage.
We'll tell the story of this model on the occasion of its anniversary or when it will reach a sufficient number of cars.
