#DelahayeWorksTeam
The Delahaye Works Team (Équipe de course de la Société des Automobiles Delahaye) refers to the official factory racing operation of the Société des Automobiles Delahaye, active primarily during the 1930s and early post-war years. Fielding models such as the 135 S and the V12-powered 145, the team competed in endurance races and Grand Prix events with notable drivers like René Dreyfus, Gianfranco Comotti, and Albert Perrot. Unlike privateer entries, these cars were factory-prepared, managed, and entered directly by Delahaye engineers and management. The works team played a key role in establishing the marque’s prestige on the international racing scene before the company's decline and eventual merger with Delage.
We'll tell the story of this works team on the occasion of its anniversary or when it will be reached a sufficient number of cars.
