#DavidLove
David Love (1931–2013) was an American sports car driver and passionate Ferrari enthusiast who competed in SCCA racing from the late 1950s through the 1960s. Based in Northern California, he was a familiar presence at circuits such as Laguna Seca, Sears Point, and Vaca Valley. Love drove a variety of cars, including Porsche and Lotus, but became most closely associated with his Ferrari 250 Testa Rossa, which he campaigned for decades in both contemporary races and later historic events. Known for his dedication to authenticity and preservation, Love was deeply respected within the vintage racing community, where he remained active well into the 2000s. His long career made him a central figure in California’s sports car and historic racing scenes.
We'll publish a biography on him on the occasion of his anniversary or when it will be reached a sufficient number of cars.
