#CividaleCastelmonte

The Cividale–Castelmonte hill climb is an annual Italian event in Friuli-Venezia Giulia. Covering approximately 6.4 km with a vertical gain of 400 m, the race ascends from Carraria in Cividale del Friuli to the Castelmonte sanctuary. First held in the late 1970s, it has been run around 47 times and serves as the finale for the north zone Italian Hill Climb Championship (CIVM) as well as regional Austrian and Slovenian series. Despite interruptions, the event has become a major fixture under the organization of Scuderia Red White, attracting both historic and modern competition cars and top hill-climb specialists from across Mitteleuropa. Noted for its technical layout and scenic route through Friulian woods, Cividale–Castelmonte blends racing legacy with regional identity.
