#ChuckNervine

Chuck Nervine was an American privateer racer active in the early 1960s SCCA and Southern regional circuits, known for campaigning a variety of European sports cars during a period of rapid change in American road-racing. Based in Alabama, he was part of the competitive network of independent drivers who kept high-performance machinery active on local tracks, often maintaining and modifying his own cars, including the period’s common practice of fitting American V8 units to aging European racers. Nervine’s results at venues such as Tuskegee and other Southeastern events, coupled with his reputation as a determined and mechanically capable entrant, place him among the dedicated privateers who sustained the post-war sports-car movement in the American South.

We'll publish a biography on him on the occasion of his anniversary or when it will be reached a sufficient number of cars.
