#CarloGianini

Engineer Carlo Gianini, eclectic author of the CNA aircraft engines and - with his colleague Pietro Remor - of the OPRA 500 motorcycle, and then again of the legendary Rondine 500 and Moto Guzzi 500 grand prix motorcycles. With him, the Gianninis experiment with a three-bearing engine bench, with welded third bearing housing, steel shaft and ergal connecting rods, capable of delivering 40 HP at 6,000 rpm. For the Roman brothers he will later design the famous G1 750 single-shaft and G2 750 twin-shaft racing engines, as well as the 700 4C boxer and the 1000 MT single-shaft.

We'll publish a biography on him on the occasion of his anniversary or when it will be reached a sufficient number of cars.
